Hi, everyone! I am glad to see you stopping by. My name is Sally, and I am a pastry chef with a love for every good baking recipe on the planet. One of my ambitions involving the writing of this blog is to offer you the possibility to learn how to bake pastry over a span of just 28 days. In my different blog posts, I will show you all you need to know about the basics of creating delicious treats that are even better than the ones you can buy from stores. Since I love pastry with my entire being, I am confident that I can do a great job helping you learn the ropes without too much trouble.

That being said, let me tell you a few things about my life as a pastry chef. One thing pastry chefs do is that they wake up early since they need to bake a lot of goodies before anyone comes in for breakfast. I wake up at 6 am every day, and I start baking as soon as possible. The people enjoying my pastry say that my muffins are the freshest they have ever tasted, and that happens only because I am determined not to linger in bed at the first sun rays (or not even, on cloudy days).

I love early mornings best because I can enjoy the silence, and I can also experiment with new recipes, as I see fit. As soon as I have a bit of extra dough, besides baking all the treats for customers I need to bake, I use this as the best opportunity to try something new. And, if my results are great and presentable enough to be served, I surprise my regular clients with something new, exciting and fresh out of the oven.

I enjoy my line of work enormously. You may think that, as a pastry chef, I am very particular about what I bake, but the truth is that I don’t find one recipe or another to stand out. In other words, I love them all equally and maybe what I would like to have is more time to experiment and play with new ideas. There is no bigger reward in the whole world than having people thanking me for making their days brighter with my baking.

I hope that you will join me on this special journey and that you will come to love baking pastry as much as I do. Everyone should be passionate about something in their lives, and, in my case, my passion is baking pastry in all shapes and forms. Whether you want to try your hand at making French pastry, or you just want to try a new cake, I hope my blog will help you achieve your goals.
